5 Point Experiences
ICA Narratives Intern
An important aspect of global learning is the hands on application. I have been fortunate to work with the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami as an assistant in the Narratives Program. This program seeks to empower and uplift minoritized youth who have had contact with the justice system through art projects that allow them to reflect on their relationships to themselves and the world around them. Below are some pictures of the insightful art the children in the program were able to create using collage and cyanotype processes.
PASS Social Media Manager
Becoming Social Media Manager for Psychology Ambassadors for Student Success was an enlightening experience. Through this position I was able to increase engagement with our followers, grow our follower count, and see the gaps in knowledge that led me to create the Passing into the Future podcast, as well as the Professional Development Fest event. One major tool I found useful was the use of trends to engage our audience, so that we were not only informative but also relatable and entertaining. Below are some highlights from my position.
